I wanted to write about this Sunday morning wedding in the beautiful, scenic district of North Side, Grand Cayman because I never want to waste an opportunity to showcase the other side of Grand Cayman. This is the quiet, private, side of the island where you can meet Caymanians, and get a glimpse of what Cayman used to be like. Fortunately, there are many villas for rent in this area, and this ensures that you have a private, scenic beach for your wedding.
This Las Vegas couple and their family recently spent a week in Cayman, where they enjoyed beach and water activities. Like many of my clients, they rented a car and "struggled bravely" with driving on the "wrong" side of the road.
It was very windy on the North Side today, but we found a bit of shade between two coconut trees. These photos were taken on my Olympus camera, by the Groom's son, Dylan, and I very much appreciate his help to capture the main events of the morning.
A new version of the "We did it!" shot
I like to do weddings with children, and try to include them in the ceremony as much as possible. Getting children to take pictures of the event for me to use on my blog, has proven quite successful recently.
I wanted to capture the Bride's formal red and white wedding dress
