There are many things I enjoy about my job as a wedding celebrant. I enjoy the romantic words of the wedding and the vow renewal ceremony, particularly because they were written by my father. I enjoy meeting visitors to our beautiful islands, and helping them enjoy their Grand Cayman vacation. Although I live here year round, I enjoy the spectacular scenery especially the sunsets. This evening everything was extra special, as if the island itself was celebrating this Green Bay couple's 25th wedding anniversary.
A Silver Anniversary is a big milestone, and a cause for celebration. I chose to do a reading from "Captain Corelli's Mandolin" which speaks to becoming like one tree, and not two.
We had the champagne ceremony, and the cork ceremony. The couple were tickled their souvenir coin said "25"!
I like the texture of photos taken on the ironshore rocks of the George Town coastline. As children we used to catch little fish trapped in these rock pools by the receding tide, and look for starfish and other sea-creatures.
Thanks to the residents at George Town Villas, who served as witnesses and Jack, who took these pictures with my Olympus camera.
If you are planning a Grand Cayman vacation, consider making it even more special by renewing your wedding vows, or having a wedding blessing ceremony. Decorative vow renewal certificate suitable for framing, personalised ceremony and souvenir script, champagne and champagne and cork ceremony, all standard with this very affordable package.
